I seek to leverage and apply the breadth and depth of my diverse professional experience to the technology sector, and continue to follow my lifelong pursuit of entrepreneurism, innovation and passion for finding solutions to some of the largest problems facing our society on both a local and national scale.
My expertise is in identifying high impact opportunities, fostering relationships, leveraging resources and executing strategic partnerships within the technology and entertainment sectors, as well as bringing that same expertise into the social services, housing, government, educational, cultural, and foundation sectors.
During my tenure at eBay as senior manager of business development, I identified vertical markets, developed a pipeline of deals and managed strategic partnerships with non-profit, entertainment, publishing and financial services sectors. As the director of sales and marketing of Telegen, I identified and aggressively prospected a target list of both resellers and retailers to generate new sales of their telecommunications hardware and software product. To support the sales, I setup and managed both a network of sales representatives to drive sale and a customer support team to provide high touch sales as well as technical support.
Through my co-creation of the Squaw Valley Olympic Museum 501c3 nonprofit I not only recruited board members and an interim executive director, I co-developed the master plan, secured the initial quarter million dollars of seed funding and negotiated official Olympic licensing from the US Olympic Committee. I developed the marketing and operational systems such as go to meeting, web ex, database and Microsoft office suite software to execute the museum’s mission.
Additionally, over the past ten years I have participated as a board member, committee member and consulted with nonprofits in the social enterprise, affordable housing, economic development and cultural sectors. To secure funding, governmental approvals and community buy-in for these nonprofits, I have leveraged my exceptional presentation, verbal and written skills.
